Glenna R. Joyce Scholarship
Established in 1961 by the late Glenna R. Joyce, the purpose of this scholarship is to enable students from the Central Ohio area to enroll at The Ohio State University or at the University of Notre Dame. The Joyce scholarship provides an award that covers all expenses of attending four years of college at either institution. Scholarship recipients are recommended by the University Honors Program to the trustee of the Glenna R. Joyce Fund on the basis of anticipated superior academic performance, contribution to the University, high character, and financial need.
To be considered for the Glenna R. Joyce Scholarship, you must reside in one of the following Ohio counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union and submit a completed HOSA application by February 1, 2010. A minimum 3.5 gpa, 30+ ACT or 1340+ SAT (Critical Reading and Math), and top 10% of high school class is recommended to be competitive for this scholarship.
